Creating and Opening Directories

To open a directory, double-click its folder icon. A new Icon View window appears showing the files and directories it contains.

To create a directory, choose "New Folder" from the Selected menu, or press the New Folder key. A folder icon appears with its name ready to edit; type a name and press Enter.

A single click selects an icon; a double click opens it. You can change this in the desktop preferences if you prefer single-click opening.
