Fonts, Colours, and the Rest

Settings that look as though they belong here live elsewhere, on purpose. Each has its own help book. Open one from the Contents/Search window, or from a shell:

Fonts

Typefaces are a desktop-wide setting. One font scheme binds nine roles, and every application follows it. There is no per-application font choice and none here.

cyhelp --book Fonts --topic overview

Colours

Colour schemes are separate from font schemes and from anything on this panel. Any font scheme mixes with any colour scheme.

cyhelp --book Schemes --topic overview

Sounds and the Mouse

The other user-scoped preference panels have their own books.

cyhelp --book Sounds --topic overview
cyhelp --book Mouse --topic overview
cyhelp --book Audio --topic overview

The Desktop Itself

For the Toolchest that launched this panel, the window manager, and the desktop as a whole:

cyhelp --book Blueprint --topic overview
cyhelp --book Toolchest --topic overview
cyhelp --book WindowManager --topic overview
