Documentation / Contents - Removable Media
Blueprint treats removable media the way IRIX mediad did: plug in a stick, insert a disc, and the desktop knows about it without you opening a disk utility. The workhorse is cymount (CyMount). The small Motif manager is cydrive (CyDrive).

The page most people need first is Setting Up the Daemon.
cymount session CLI and optional --daemon poller; owns the ledger cydrive Motif list of volumes; Open, Mount, Eject, Properties eject-media Toolchest "Eject Media" entry; thin face of cymount
cymount never draws a Motif window. cydrive never invents mounts: it reads the ledger and asks cymount to scan, mount, or eject.
From a terminal after install:
man cymount
