The Dock Area help book is part of Blueprint, a clean-room revival of the SGI (Silicon Graphics) IRIX Interactive Desktop.

Blueprint is not a product of, nor endorsed by, Silicon Graphics. "IRIX" and "Silicon Graphics" are used only to describe what Blueprint revives.

The Desktop Exclusion Zone is Blueprint's own. IRIX's desktop had no tiling window manager and so needed nothing like it; this is an extended tool, not a canonical one.
