Command Line

cylogout only forwards. There is no Motif UI left in this binary.

cylogout [options]

Standard: -h/--help, -V/--version, --selftest, --caps, --log SPEC, -v/--verbose, -q/--quiet.

Forwarding Map

• (no action flags) -- exec cysplash --end-session-panel
• --now -- exec cysplash --logout-now
• --check -- exec cysplash --check-logout
• --dry-run -- exec cysplash --logout-now --dry-run
• --from NAME -- record who asked; forwarded to cysplash

Examples:

cylogout
cylogout --now --from cli
cylogout --check
cylogout --dry-run

On success the process image becomes cysplash (execvp). On failure to exec, exit 127 with a short hint to install cysplash or call it by name.
