Command Line

icosmoke [OPTION]...

Solid icosahedra plus blended R/G/B smoke. Needs a display except for --selftest.

Window And Saver

• -window -- ordinary framed window (default)
• -fullscreen -- override-redirect; exit on key or pointer
• -window-id 0xWIN -- embed in an existing window
• -no-input-exit -- keep running on key/mouse (preview and embed)

CySaver preview uses -window-id plus -no-input-exit. Idle and Test Full Screen use -fullscreen.

Bodies And Physics

• -count N -- number of bodies (default 18)
• -drop F -- drop height scale 0.4..2.5 (default 1.0)
• -bounce F -- restitution 0.15..0.98 (default 0.72)

Smoke And Colour

• -colors N -- pure smoke channels, 1..3 (default 3)
• -color auto|scheme|red|green|blue|#RRGGBB -- body colour path
• -scheme-rgb #R #G #B -- optional scheme-tinted pure channels
• -greyscale -- mono grey spheres and smoke (no chroma)
• -halftone -- 1-bit Bayer newsprint (implies greyscale)

Housekeeping

• --selftest -- built-in checks
• -h / --help and -V / --version when the binary prints them

Examples

icosmoke -count 18 -colors 3
icosmoke -color scheme -drop 1.2 -bounce 0.72
