Documentation / CySaver Screen Saver

Using the Panel

The window is titled "Screen Saver". Two tabs sit above the body: Saver and Timing. The button row along the bottom is Apply, Close, and Help. Help opens this book.

The Saver Tab

Left: a preview of the selected hack. Right: the hack list (Blank, Icosahedra, and companions when present). Below: hack options for the current selection, then:

Hack options change with the list selection. Blank has none. Icosahedra and companions expose their own faders in the Hack options frame.

Test Full Screen runs the current hack now without waiting for idle.

The Timing Tab

All timeouts in one place. Blank and DPMS stages cannot be shorter than the screensaver idle when the saver is enabled.

Timing writes live when you move a slider; Apply also pushes blank/DPMS to the display.

Apply, Test, and Close

When the saver is off, Timing still owns blank/DPMS if you leave those stages enabled. Idle arm does nothing until Enable is on and Apply has been used (or conf already says enabled).
