Using the Clock and Prefs

Cyclock is the face window. cyclock-prefs is the settings panel. Both share ~/.cyanotype/cyclock.conf. Help on the prefs panel opens this book (class CyclockPrefs).

The Face Window

The face fills the window. Right-click opens a popup menu with a Faces cascade, Borderless, Preferences, About CyClock (formative notes for each face), and Quit. Borderless faces are shaped so the wallpaper shows beside the dial; left-mouse drag moves a borderless window.

Number keys and brackets change faces without opening prefs. Space starts or stops the chronograph on faces that have one. p opens preferences; q or Esc quits.

Preferences Tabs

cyclock-prefs tabs (as shipped):

A Timer tab appears when countdown expire prefs are in play for the timer face.

Live Apply

There is no Apply button. Every control writes conf and signals a running cyclock (SIGHUP / --notify) as soon as you change it. Close leaves the last written values. Help opens this book.
