Keys and Shortcuts

Greeter (account picker and password):

• Enter -- commit the selected or typed login name; with password field up, submit the password (same as Log In)
• Tab / Shift-Tab -- move between name field, password field, and buttons when those widgets are up
• Escape -- clear or back out of the password step where the face supports it (typed-login flow)
• Single click on a face -- fill the login name only
• Double-click on a face -- commit that account (password field if needed)

Buttons:

• Log In -- commit (left of Help on the classic layout)
• Help -- open this CyLogin book in cyhelp
• FAILSAFE -- minimal session when the face offers it

Lock face (--lock):

• Type the password for the real user; Enter submits
• Closing the window does not unlock
• On lock_timeout, process exits 2 (cysaver may resume the hack)

There is no global desktop accelerator map for the greeter; it grabs keyboard and pointer while up so other clients cannot steal input. CyOSK can still be used on seats that launch it beside the greeter when configured for accessibility; see the Keyboard book for the on-screen keyboard itself.
