Documentation / CyCopy

Command Line

cycopy copies or moves SOURCE paths into DEST (an existing directory). Options first, sources next, destination last -- same shape as cp/mv.

cycopy [options] SOURCE... DEST
cycopy [options] --from-list=FILE DEST
cycopy --move [options] SOURCE... DEST

Mode

Without --recursive, directory sources are omitted. CyFiler always passes --recursive.

Sources From A List

cycopy --from-list=/tmp/list /tmp/out
cycopy -0 --from-list=- /tmp/out < paths.null

Conflicts And Ownership

ask uses a GUI CyNotice. --quiet rejects ask.

Progress Window

RATE units: K/KB = KiB/s, M/MB = MiB/s; a bare number is KiB/s. Tiny jobs (bytes_total under 5 MiB) suppress the GUI automatically.
