Events and schemes

These are the sound preferences for CySoundD. You choose which scheme is active, which event plays which sound, whether the events are muted, and how the categories are grouped. Device loudness is CyMix. This panel does not move the hardware faders.

The daemon is still the program that talks to the audio device. Apply tells that daemon to switch schemes. The panel does not open the device a second time.
