File Type Handlers

Which app opens what

This panel chooses which application opens which kind of file. It edits the same handler map that CyOpen, the file manager, and the desktop icons already consult. The extended face is the working editor. A canonical face keeps the IRIX layout.

You can read the ranking. You are not stuck with a handler that the desktop inferred and then hid.

File Type Handlers, the editor for the same map CyOpen and the file manager already use.
