Colored Smoke

Screen hack

Colored Smoke is a screen hack. It draws a small icosahedron and blended red, green, and blue smoke. These pictures are ordinary windows, not the fullscreen saver. The second picture is the grayscale mode. The third is halftone.

Screen Saver is the panel that can run the same program fullscreen after the desk has been idle. The window on this page is the desk face, which is the same program in a normal window.

Colored Smoke, in the default window, which is the desk face rather than the fullscreen saver.

The same hack in grayscale. The smoke is still there, drawn without the red, green, and blue.

The same hack in halftone.
