CyMount

Mount workhorse

CyMount is the session service underneath CyDrive. It notices hot-pluggable block devices, keeps one ledger for the whole desktop, and performs the mount and unmount the other programs request.

The mount path is the operating system's own path. If you turn on allowlisted local filesystems, they stay under a fixed namespace, so a mount cannot land just anywhere. CyMount is not a disk partitioner, and it has no window. CyDrive is the panel.
