CyLogin

CyLogin is the graphical login greeter, in the clogin tradition. When it is running under cylogind, it holds a real authentication conversation with the system. Standalone, with no daemon behind it, it is only the account-picker face: it does not check a password, and it does not start a session.

The same face is the lock screen that the screen saver raises. That lock is for the person who is already logged in. It is not a second chance to pick a different account.

CyLogin's standalone demo face. The accounts are placeholders. Nothing in this picture checks a password or starts a session. The house picture is behind the window.
