CyDrive

Removable media

CyDrive is the removable-media panel, scoped the way IRIX mediad was. It covers USB, optical, floppy, zip, and cartridge media. Internal disks and partition tools are out of scope.

It reads the ledger that CyMount keeps, and it does not invent mounts of its own. Eject, open, and the desktop icon for a volume all go through that same path.

CyDrive, the removable-media panel. Internal disks are not in this picture, and they are not in scope.
